| Hi Christopher, I just started Christopher Sia's Realistic Pencil Portrait Drawing course and in one day have already learned to draw the eye better than I would ever have imagines. Sia's instructions take you step by step through the construction both of a "perfect eye" and of presumably flawless examples of the other facial features. Once you have learned to draw a perfect eye, it is easy to take your understanding and draw any eye, which is of course the real genius of Sia's method. These drawing lessons, both throughly enjoyable and productive, go well beyond casual sketching: students learn to observe minutely the details of any given face, to see what is, and what is not, before them, and how to translate what they see into what are after all just pencil marks on paper.
